Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of English Department to lead our English faculty in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This key leadership role involves driving the strategic direction of English education within our institution, fostering a culture of academic excellence, and ensuring compliance with educational standards.
Requirement:
- Master’s degree in English, Education with a focus on English, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in English language instruction, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Native English speakers with an IELTS score of band 8 or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive English curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Mentor and support English teachers in their professional development and classroom practice.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative learning environment that encourages critical thinking and a passion for literature and language.
- Ensure alignment with educational standards and successful outcomes in assessments and inspections.
- Oversee the assessment and tracking of student progress in English.
- Engage in strategic planning and contribute to the overall leadership of the institution.
